Recapping the 10th European Conference for Creativity and Innovation
The Creative Problem Solving Group, Inc. was well represented at the Tenth European Conference on Creativity and Innovation (ECCI X) held in Copenhagen during mid October 2007. The conference gives practitioners and researchers an opportunity to find out what is happening in the world of Creativity and Innovation. Scott Isaksen, the CEO, presented the opening keynote address with Dr. Joseph Tidd. Their presentation was based on their book, Meeting the Innovation Challenge published by Wiley.
Scott and Dan Phillips of Alcatel-Lucent gave a well-received presentation on CPSB’s new approach to the front end of New Product Development. This approach finds the unmet, unarticulated needs of consumers. Scott talked about the approach CPSB is using and, as a client, Dan discussed the success of the process.
Other CPSB employees and associates presenting at the conference were: William (Bill) Shephard and CPSB Associate Luc DeSchryver who spoke about the Situational Outlook Questionnaire and VIEW: An Assessment of Problem Solving Style. Associate Barbara Babij presented a research paper at the event.
Bill Shephard, also assisted at the conference by helping to facilitate sessions and running a feedback group at the end of each day. |
